JUNE 21, 2013 | by Janice Holland-Hill | This poem is by one of our new friends at Parkinson’s Women Support, Janice Holland-Hill, formerly from the Bay Area and now living in NV . She wrote this poem after being diagnosed a few years back. Welcome, Jan!

Like snow

I dance in the wind,

And whirl through the sky.

Alone, yet one with

the snowflakes before me.

Like snow

I float from the heavens

To the white reaches below,

Wordlessly rejoicing

in the beauty of my flight.

Like snow

I linger in the vastness

Of whiteness before me,

Never forgetting….

I am like snow….

On a journey that

begins anew,

even as it ends.
